A big science weekend is coming up as scientists from the seven Crown Research Institutes celebrate 25 years of helping shape the nation’s wealth and wellbeing through great science.   

Over two days at Te Papa Museum, Wellington: Friday, 10 November and Saturday, 11 November, Science New Zealand presents a variety of informative, educational public talks that will enthral, inspire and fascinate you.  Register for your free ticket here. (external link)

ESR has been delivering science for communities in the areas of environmental health and water quality, food safety, public health and forensic science since 1992.  Our scientists will be sharing their knowledge and discoveries in the following 12 minute talks in the Sounding Theatre.

ESR Exhibition

There will also be an impressive exhibition in the Oceania Room with interactive activities for the whole family as well as real life scientists available to talk to about what they do and answer any questions.

  • See in 3D what nasty disease bugs look like
